Dr. Michael Abatzis is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with fellowship training in critical care medicine. Over more than two decades of clinical practice, he has worked in both academic and community emergency departments managing high-acuity illness and trauma.
Areas of expertise include injury analysis, clinical timeline reconstruction, disease mechanism interpretation, and education regarding pharmaceutical mechanisms of action.

Consulting Experience
Outside of his consulting work, Dr. Abatzis serves a an active ski and safety patroller, providing on-mountain emergency care and safety support. He also has a longstanding interest in mechanical systems and has extensive experience in automotive and marine repair, including engine rebuilding and system diagnostics.
In recent years his work has expanded into consulting, including medical record analysis for criminal investigations and advisory work for pharmaceutical and healthcare research organizations. His consulting focuses on interpreting complex medical documentation and explaining clinical findings to non-medical audiences.
